Description

Born in Hungary, Vasarely was largely influenced by the Bauhaus before becoming the leader of Op Art. Throughout his career Vasarely produced paintings and sculptures that focused on colourful geometric shapes and optical illusions with the goal of stimulating the eye through the radical use of shapes and colours.

This print is part of a series for the Editions du Griffon, printed in Switzerland in 1975.
